Hello. My name is Korean Nickel Expert. Today, I would like to introduce Korean Nickel Company, Nickel Product Producer in South Korea. Korean Nickel Company was established in 1987 and produces and supplies nickel product in South Korea. It was established as a joint venture with Korea Zinc Post Steel Canada INCO. The product is utility nickel, which is used as the main raw material for stainless steel and special steel. Nickel for electroplating, nickel for non-ferrous alloys, and nickel powder used for electrical and electronics, diamond tools, and cemented carbide manufacturing are imported from Canadian company INCO. In 1989, the first electric furnace with an annual capacity of 16,500 tons was completed, and after that, in line with the increase in domestic demand, the second electric furnace was expanded in 1999 to have an annual capacity of 50,000 tons.
