​Today, I would like to introduce KEMCO, Nickel Product Producer in South Korea.



KEMCO established in 2017. KEMCO is an affiliate of Young Poong Group and Korea Zinc Company. KEMCO built out manufacturing plant in Ulsan Onsan Industrial Complex in March 2018. Starting with annual production of 30,000 tons of NiSO4, KEMCO will increase the annual production to 80,000 tons.

Products


Nickel Sulphate is used as a raw material for lithium ion batteries and plating. Nickel is a main component composing cathode materials of lithium ion batteries and demand for Nickel Sulphate will continue to increase following the growth of the electric car and ESS markets.
